Online Pregnancy Yoga Classes
In light of the COVID-19 outbreak, and subsequent shielding and social distancing guidance for pregnant women, I am pleased to be able to offer pregnancy yoga classes live online so expectant mums can practice in the comfort of their own home, while still having a connection to other pregnant people and an experienced teacher.
ABOUT ONLINE PREGNANCY YOGA CLASSES
Classes are suitable for everyone, you needn't have practiced yoga before to enjoy the benefits of these classes.
You will learn specific yoga breathing techniques beneficial in pregnancy and in labour, postures and positions to help build strength and stamina for when you will need it most, and ways to unwind and release.
Each class begins with time for discussion and sharing any worries, concerns and joys. It is a great opportunity to hear other experiences and exchange information and allows the group to bond. You can say as much or little as you like, and anything shared during this part of the class is kept in strict confidence, never leaving the room.

The class link will be sent automatically with your booking confirmation. You will also get a reminder five hours before the class containing the link. These emails will come from TeamUp, not from me. The 'waiting room' will be open 10 minutes prior to the class start time. I'd suggest you sign in sooner rather than later to allow for any tech glitches, get settled, etc. Make sure your volume is up, and camera on. You can mute your mic as needed and turn your camera on or off as you choose. To protect your privacy these live sessions will not be recorded.
Wear normal comfortable clothes, sweatpants, pyjama bottoms, up to you! You may need a yoga or exercise mat, yoga block (like this one HERE), a cushion (sofa cushion or small pillow) and a blanket.
Contact me if you have any further questions or need more information before booking.

I am the mother of three children, all born in London, the eldest at King's and the younger two at home. I am grateful to all the incredibly skilled and dedicated maternity professionals involved in bringing them in to the world, and to my husband - who handled the unexpected early delivery of baby number two with remarkable calm and assuredness!
In addition to holding a Level 4 Diploma in teaching yoga from the British Wheel of Yoga (BWYQ), I have completed the British Wheel of Yoga Pregnancy Yoga Module and additional training with Birthlight, I am also a recognised DoulaUK birth doula. I am a Spinning Babies Certified Parent Educator, one of the first in the UK.
